Colorado Real Estate
Denver Colorado is one of the most desirable places in which to live and invest in Real Estate. Many other areas in Colorado have come up on the lists of the best places to live, and to enjoy outdoor sports. Regardless of economic turns or real estate cycles the general population in the State has a positive growth oriented outlook on life that seems to remain constant over time. This is often reflected outwardly in many of the designs and Construction of their buildings. Investors, developers and entrepreneurs naturally enjoy creating new business concepts, innovations, and or new trends placing the state 4th in the nation’s economy. Colorado historians would also agree that even today the pioneer spirit for a better and more prosperous America is still very much alive and strong as it was at the onset of its history. Several industries have changed over time such as with the once extremely popular rail road; however we have even improved on that like so many other great US Cities with the building of the Light Rail that helps save on energy and with citizens’ effective transportation.
Englewood Colorado where our office is located for example, we had commercial developers across the street that took an old landmark building in need of renovation and are in the process of recreating it into a residential and medical complex. The resulting projected growth, prosperity and other new arriving industries will help improve community vitality and property values that consequently benefits the community and homeowners. In time new redevelopments also tend to motivate people who have called Colorado home for years on starting to take on improved projects as well.
Conoco Phillips the fifth-largest Corporation in the Nation plans to locate a new global technology and corporate learning center in the Northwest market here in Colorado. This area will also become a hub for renewable-energy companies that are going to do research, development, production and management for this popular and much needed industry. Why Colorado as the target location? According to the Denver Post, Bill Tanner, a spokesman for the company said that our state is considered an incubator for renewable energy technology and is a great place for research due to its many great universities nearby. We have great educational institutions such as University of Colorado at Boulder, the Colorado School of mines, and the University of Denver among others that have graduates from programs that participate at some level in these fields. Conoco Phillips is also considering research into converting algae into a renewable fuel since carbon dioxide from power plant emissions can be used as feed stock for the algae. In the field of construction the University of Denver has the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management in which I serve as an adjunct professor and has graduates with a very comprehensive education on construction developments.
No doubt that Colorado is a place of innovation, education and environmentally responsible growth but also a great place in which to build a dynamic future and raise a family.
